For anyone doubting the existence of “the little people”, be they dwarves, gnomes or hobbits: scientists who investigated skull bones found on the Indonesian island of Flores have recently (in the first quarter of 2016) confirmed, that these bones belonged to a race of tiny people “Homo florensis” and were not just those of small homo sapiens. Therewith exists scientific evidence of “small people” such as dwarves, gnomes, leprechauns, hobbits, kobolds, goblins, elves and others commonly believed to be a figment of the imagination or a fairy tale.

By the same token, it stands to reason that a larger variety of beings, incorporating within it giants, ogres and the bigger types of trolls, are and have been around. One may simply assume that relevant burial sites have not as yet been excavated.
